Lesotho nurses take on website training
Members of the LNA met on 9 February 2013 to undergo website training to learn how to maintain the LNA website. Lesotho launches national CPD program
23rd November 2012 was a red-letter day for Lesotho. The Lesotho Nursing Council hosted the launch of the national continuing professional development (CPD) program for nurses and midwives. The national CPD program was developed in 2011 with a grant from the African Regulatory Collaborative (ARC). The Lesotho nursing ‘quad’, consisting of the Lesotho Registrar, the Chief Nursing Officer, the Lesotho Nurses Association and representatives from nursing and midwifery education providers, developed the program in consultation with a broader CPD Advisory Committee and other key stakeholders.
